New Puma Varsity Head Coach Jerry Delamater
Puma Softball is pleased to announce that Jerry Delamater has been named the new Varsity Head Coach, replacing long time coach Aaron Slojkowski who stepped down after last season. Jerry comes to Chaparral with over 30 years of coaching experience.
He is the Head Coach of the TNL travel ball organization, overseeing 8 teams. This summer he lead the 16U TNL team to Championship wins at both the ASA SoCal State and ASA National tournaments. Jerry has 10 years of travel ball experience. He has been the Chaparral Varsity Assistant Coach for the last 4 years and he coached in Temecula's girls softball rec league for 10 years. He is also an experienced high school boys basketball & boys little league coach. Jerry grew up in Garden Grove and is married to Dawn Delamater. They have two beautiful girls, Lindsey (21) a senior at Chapman University and Courtney (18) a sophomore at Palomar, both CHS graduates and former Puma softball players. |
